Gemeine Nachtkerze (Oenothera biennis) und Kleine Bibernelle (Pimpinella saxifraga) für neue Wertschöpfungsketten in der Lausitz
In context of the structural change to increase biodiversity in Lusatia, new value chains are to be developed based on the common evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) and the small burnet (Pimpinella saxifraga). These native plant species can serve as equivalent alternatives to imported goods such as aniseed, evening primrose oil and synthetic substances. They also have numerous properties that have a positive effect on arable crops, e.g. in the form of pathogen suppression or biodiversity promotion.
