Helmholtz Doctoral Award 2024 for Dr. Laura Helleckes

Dr. Laura Helleckes, former IBG-1 doctoral student of the Bioprocesses and Bioanalytics group at Forschungszentrum Jülich, was awarded the Helmholtz Doctoral Prize 2024 in the research field “Earth and Environment” (Track B) by the selection committee of the Helmholtz Association on May 28, 2025 for her doctoral thesis entitled “Automated experimentation, Bayesian statistics and machine learning for high-throughput bioprocess development”.

The award ceremony will take place on July 7, 2025, at the Helmholtz Association headquarters in Berlin.
