JSPS grant for Georg Schendzielorz

George Schendzielorz from the "Amino acids and Cell Wall" group receives a grant from the "Japan Society for the Promotion of Science" (JSPS) and will spend two months at the Biotechnology Research Center at the University of Tokyo this summer. During this time he will work on the protein crystallization of enzyme variants of the L-lysine pathway under the guidance of his academic host Prof. Dr. Makoto Nishiyama.

Each year the JSPS supports about 100 fellows from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany and Canada to come to Japan for a scientific and cultural exchange.
