One-shot 13C15N-metabolic flux analysis – new approach published in Molecular Systems Biology
Metabolic flux is the final output of cellular regulation. While carbon fluxes have been extensively studied, much less is known about nitrogen metabolism. Quantifying nitrogen fluxes together with carbon fluxes thus broadens our view of cellular function. However, this broadening of scope is accompanied by uncertainties that complicate the task of inferring fluxes computationally from noisy and incomplete data.
