E-MailWith "DPPN-Access", national access ("ACCESS") to the phenotyping infrastructure facilities of the three sites FZJ, IPK and HMGU is to be made possible for external users, in particular those users who have no - or only insufficient - resources available for this themselves. This is aimed especially to university users and users from other publicly funded research institutions in Germany. Access to the facilities is granted on the basis of a simple application procedure.
DPPN e.V. initially acquired the BMBF-funded pilot project "DPPN-ACCESS" (01.01.2022-31.12.2023). The requirements for the application procedure and the application guidelines were drawn up and two calls were launched. In order to ensure the implementation of further external user projects in the longer term, the BMBF-funded follow-up project "DPPN-ACCESS 2.0" (01.01.2024-31.12.2028) was acquired. The follow-up project DPPN-ACCESS 2.0 is intended to ensure an extended value creation of the funds invested in the DPPN project and thus contribute to improving the conditions for national research in the field of plant phenotyping. Further calls for access are launched.
