Publication analysis for plant research: Prof. Björn Usadel is the most highly cited plant scientist in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

With 39,046 citations, Prof. Björn Usadel tops the list of the most cited plant scientists in the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), closely followed by Tony Bolger, a former IBG-4 employee, who made it to number 3 on the list. This list was recently published by LABORJOURNAL (www.laborjournal.de), which carried out a publication analysis of cited publications in plant research for the years 2013 - 2022 based on data from the “Web of Science” database of Clarivate Analytics (formerly at Thomson Reuters).
