Within the two research topics 'Structure-based Bioinformatics' and 'Omics-/Data-based Bioinformatics' the institute division IBG-4 supports the knowledge based bioeconomy by applying and implementing computational solutions to support protein structural analysis and engineering as well as the large-scale analysis of complex genomic, transcriptomic or metabolomic datasets in the area of plant sciences.
