A computer-assisted, untargeted screening for patterns and correlations in data sets helps to unravel new relationships, and to visualise and interpret complex data. For this, big data sets from sequence analyses and other analyses, for example from phenotypic characterisations, are analysed for predictions or to optimise processes.
