Machine learning methods for enzyme engineering and discovery

We develop new methods based on existing deep-learning algorithms to generate accurate predictions for use in enzyme engineering and enzyme functional classification. Specifically, our group has developped and maintains TopEC, an improved enzyme functional classification framework based on the TopEnzyme database focuses on the use of 3D graph convolutional neural networks for predicting substitution effects on enzymes activity and stability.
