Understanding Blood Clotting Better
Jülich, 24 August 2011 – Scientists from Forschungszentrum Jülich are part of a new research group on blood clotting established by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Together with scientists and medical researchers from Germany and Austria, the Jülich physicists are pursing the long-term goal of improving both the diagnosis and treatment of clotting disorders, thromboses and strokes. The DFG is funding the project with around € 2.5 million for the coming three years.
