Alumni Talk: A career as a Scientist at BASF
Dr. Niklas Körber
Niklas is a former postdoc of Forschungszentrum Jülich. After receiving his PhD at Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in 2013, he started working at Forschungszentrum Jülich as a postdoc in data analysis and experimental design in the Jülich Plant Phenotyping Center at the IBG-2. After that he worked as a Projektmanager and Lead Breeder & Manager R&D at Hild Samen GmbH. Since 2020 he is working as Digital Phenotyping Scientist at BASF Vegetable Seeds.
BASF supports farmers along the whole value chain – from seed to a successful harvest. BASF is an expert in vegetable seeds and wants to help customers around the globe succeed.
