Tech Talk on Quantum Computing with TechLabs Aachen e.V.

Quantum computers promise to solve certain problems much faster than conventional computers can ever do. How does one come up with this, and how is it supposed to work? How long do we have to wait for it, what are the biggest obstacles on the road to this new technology?

To answer these questions, Dr. Daniel Zeuch will discuss the fundamental difference between these different types of computers, which in turn allows him to impart the immense potential of quantum computers. Furthermore, he will describe some of the ongoing research activities at Forschungszentrum Jülich, which is on its way to develop powerful quantum computers in European/German collaborative projects.
