If you`re passionate about contributing to the establishment of a crucial segment in the data relationship life cycle for plant science, we invite you to join the Omics-/Database-based Bioinformatics division (IBG-4) at the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences at Forschungszentrum Jülich. IBG-4, led by Prof. Dr. Usadel, specializes in data integration, classical bioinformatics, data science, and machine learning. The offered position will focus on the ELN-RO project, which has the aim to establish seamless interoperability between Electronic Lab Notebooks and Research Object-Crates (https://helmholtz-metadaten.de/de/inf-projects/elnro ). This will be achieved by creating a standardized metadata mapping framework and developing tools that enable continuous and efficient recording and exchange of research data and metadata, ultimately enhancing data management, sharing, and reproducibility in the chemical and life sciences.
