Fusion Scientists Meet at Jülich

Jülich, 17 January 2012 – Until 19 January, Forschungszentrum Jülich is playing host to fusion scientists from all over the world. The topic of the meeting is the boundary layer of fusion reactors where energy is extracted from the burn chamber. The physical understanding of this region and the choice of materials for the first wall are key topics for future fusion power plants.
