Award-Winning Bacteria Sensors

Jülich, 18 March 2016 – Prof. Julia Frunzke has been awarded this year's research prize by the Association for General and Applied Microbiology (VAAM). The scientist, who works at Jülich's Institute of Biotechnology and is also a junior professor at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, received the award, which is endowed with € 10,000, for her current research into bacteria sensors for biotechnology.
