US Plant Researcher Chosen for Humboldt Professorship

Jülich, 27 October 2016 – Plant molecular biologist Prof. Wolf B. Frommer from Stanford University (USA) is one of three researchers to have been selected for an Alexander von Humboldt Professorship. Forschungszentrum Jülich, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, and the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne had nominated the scientist for Germany’s most valuable international research prize. If the scientists accept the Humboldt Professorship, the prize will be awarded to them in May 2017.
