Innovation Award for Planned Jülich Spin-Off

Jülich, 28 October 2016 – The f-cell Award for innovative fuel cell technology went to Jülich this year. Vitali Weißbecker, Andreas Schulze Lohoff, and Klaus Wedlich from the Institute of Energy and Climate Research impressed the jury in the "research & development" category with their PRECORS project. The aim of the project, which is being funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, is to make fuel cells smaller and lighter. The award is endowed with € 10,000 and was presented to the winners in October during the World of Energy Solutions trade fair in Stuttgart.
