Helmholtz Funds "Nanoprobers Made in Jülich"

Jülich, 4 November 2016 – Converting research findings into practical applications represents an important step in contributing to solving social problems. The Helmholtz Association, together with the Helmholtz Validation Fund, therefore funds projects that show particular promise in this regard. A project from Jülich’s Peter Grünberg Institute has now been chosen for funding. It focuses on the development of a special inspection device for the semiconductor industry known as a "nanoprober". The Helmholtz Association will be providing the project with roughly € 1 million in funding over the next two years.
