Smart Energy in Focus

16 February 2018 – How can digitization contribute to achieving the goals of the transformation of the German energy sector

(Energiewende)

? Scientists have been tackling this question as part of the Virtual Institute Smart Energy (VISE). Within this framework, experts from Jülich’s Institute of Energy and Climate Research (IEK-STE) are coordinating the investigation of domestic smart technologies, such as smart metering, smart homes, apps, and energy storage systems.
