NanoBat to Improve Battery Materials

Jülich, 5 March 2018 – A new three-year research project entitled “NanoBat – Nanostructured battery materials” is set to develop improved materials for use in batteries. The project is coordinated by the MEET battery research centre at the University of Münster, and scientists from Jülich’s Institute of Energy and Climate Research are also involved. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is funding the project with just under € 3 million.
