Environment Minister Ursula Heinen-Esser Visits Jülich
Jülich, 17 July 2018 – Visit from Düsseldorf: Ursula Heinen-Esser (CDU), Minister for the Environment, Agriculture, Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), paid a visit to Forschungszentrum Jülich on Monday, 16 July. Accompanied by Dr. Patricia Peill (CDU), NRW state parliament representative for Jülich and chair of the state parliament environmental committee, and Karsten Beneke, Vice-Chairman of Forschungszentrum Jülich, she gained an insight into the scientific expertise of Forschungszentrum Jülich in the current diesel debate. The minister was shown Jülich’s mobile measurement laboratory, MOBILAB, and the planned diesel catalyst, DeNOx, at the Institute of Energy and Climate Research.
