Four New Bioeconomy Projects

Jülich, 28 February 2020 – Four new research projects addressing bioeconomy were launched in February with the aim of advancing the transformation of the chemical industry into a bio-based economy. The projects involve scientists from Forschungszentrum Jülich and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU). The Institute of Molecular Enzyme Technology (IMET) at Forschungszentrum Jülich is coordinating two of these four projects and is a partner in the other two. In total almost €6 million of funding has been awarded for a period of three years.
