Farewell to Karsten Beneke at End-of-Year Lecture

On 13 December, Forschungszentrum Jülich’s End-of-Year Lecture took place at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn. On behalf of Forschungszentrum Jülich, Prof. Astrid Lambrecht, Chair of the Board of Directors, bid farewell to Karsten Beneke, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors, who will be stepping down from his position after 13 years. Jülich neuroscientist Prof. Simon Eickhoff from the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine – Brain and Behaviour subsequently gave a lecture on the possibilities and challenges of artificial intelligence using the example of brain research.
