Cutting-edge research focused on practical applications
An overview of our projects and start-ups, general information about the exhibition, and the Forschungszentrum Jülich stand can be found on the central landing page for the fair.
20 April 2026
Here we go: At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, Forschungszentrum Jülich will demonstrate how AI and large-scale research infrastructures help shorten the path from idea to industrial application and build a sustainable energy system.
From today through April 24, the Research Center will present current projects, startups, and exhibits in the fields of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, research infrastructures, and sustainable energy systems at HANNOVER MESSE. Jülich’s trade fair presence focuses on a point that is crucial for companies: innovation is tied to certain prerequisites. It requires, for example, data, computing power, simulations, or material analyses. Jülich covers the entire chain—from basic research and world-class infrastructures to application-oriented research and the transfer into concrete solutions.
With its unique infrastructure, such as Europe’s first exascale computer JUPITER, and its comprehensive expertise, Forschungszentrum Jülich makes a significant contribution to realizing the potential of key technologies. In this way, the research center positions itself at HANNOVER MESSE as a partner for companies seeking to develop and deploy new technologies.
AI as a Top Theme Highlighted in the CUPITER Exhibit
At the center of the trade fair presentation is the AI demonstrator CUPITER. This interactive exhibit brings key research topics at Forschungszentrum Jülich to life in the context of artificial intelligence. CUPITER is complemented by three thematic islands on future computing, energy, and research infrastructures, where researchers present current projects and opportunities for collaboration.
In Hall 11, Booth B22, visitors can discover for themselves how research helps turn scientific excellence into practical solutions.
