NRW Innovation Award for Jülich Biotechnologists

Düsseldorf/Jülich, 18 February 2016 – The Innovation Award of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia is one of Germany's major research prizes and is awarded in three categories. The Jülich biotechnologists Georg Schaumann and Stephan Binder from the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences received the award, endowed with € 50,000, in the category for early-career scientists. The awards were announced today by NRW's science minister Svenja Schulze.
