With the Early Excellence in Science Awards (EESA), Bayer Foundation honours early-career scientists with an outstanding scientific career up to a maximum seven years after completing their PhD. The awards are given for pioneering research in the categories Biology, Chemistry, Medical Sciences and Data Sciences, each with 10,000 € prize money.
