Prof. Dr Markus Axer is a Group Leader at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine - Structural and Functional Organisation of the Brain (INM-1). Together with his team, he is researching the structure of the human brain and discovering things that have never been described before. The goal: to better understand diseases such as Alzheimer's dementia in the long term.
