Düren Foreigners' Registration Office Offers On-Site Service
14 September 2011 – The Foreigner's Registration Office of the Düren district is forthcoming in the true sense of the word:
its employees have been offering appointments at Forschungszentrum Jülich and on the Jülich campus of Aachen University of Applied Sciences for some time now.
Students and scientists from abroad are pleased with the new service, especially since as of 1 September, it has become considerably more difficult for them to make their stay in Germany official.
Biometric data are now saved on the new electronic residence permit (eAT), and the document must be collected personally when it is ready.
