Zeppelin Campaign Postponed for Three Days

Jülich, 14 May 2012 – Zeppelin NT will only be able to take course for the Netherlands on Thursday. Due to severe weather warnings for the region around Mainz, those responsible have decided to postpone the start of the campaign for three days. Under the watchful eye of Jülich atmosphere researchers, Zeppelin NT will measure the composition of the air in and around Rotterdam for about ten days. The measurements are part of the EU large-scale project "PEGASOS", which involves twenty-six partners from a total of fourteen European countries and Israel, and aims to investigate relationships between atmospheric chemistry and climate change.
