Successful MATSEs Celebrate End of Training
2 September 2013. Last Friday, 26 mathematical and technical software development trainees (MATSEs for short) celebrated the successful completion of their training. Twenty of them trained at Forschungszentrum Jülich, while six were placed in partner institutions. Of the twenty young men and six young women, around ten are planning to go on to complete a master’s programme. Seventeen of them will be kept on as employees of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
Among those who offered their congratulations were Karsten Beneke (Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forschungszentrum Jülich), Prof. Volker Sander (dean at Aachen University of Applied Sciences), Prof. Grotendorst (Jülich Supercomputing Centre), Heinz Gehlen (Aachen Chamber of Industry and Commerce), and Gabi Bockholt (Works Council of Forschungszentrum Jülich).
