Jülich's Nuclear Expertise Merged in JEN

Jülich, 2 September 2015 – The merger pooling the nuclear expertise of Forschungszentrum Jülich and AVR GmbH in the form of a new company at the Jülich site officially came into effect on 1 September. At an event attended by the employees of the new enterprise, Karsten Beneke, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forschungszentrum Jülich, paid tribute to the outstanding work performed by colleagues at the former infrastructure division Nuclear Services (N) over the past decades.
