Jülich, 7 April 2017 – The leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and candidate for federal chancellor Martin Schulz visited Forschungszentrum Jülich. Together with the mayor of Jülich, Axel Fuchs, and the SPD member of the German Bundestag for Düren, Dietmar Nietan, Schulz was introduced to the latest developments in the field of supercomputing and bioeconomy. Jülich’s activities on reconciling work and family life and on supporting women in the science sector were also presented during his visit.
