Martin Winter Receives Arfvedson-Schlenk-Preis Award from Society of German Chemists

Jülich/Aachen, 17 September 2019 – Electrochemist and materials researcher Prof. Martin Winter received the Arfvedson-Schlenk-Preis award for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of lithium chemistry in Aachen last Monday. The Society of German Chemists (GDCh) awards this distinction every two years. Prof. Winter is the founding director of the Helmholtz Institute Münster (HI MS) – a branch office of Forschungszentrum Jülich – and also heads the MEET battery research centre of the University of Münster (WWU).
