Jülich Biotech Day 2019
Jülich, 27 September 2019 – Beer is one of the oldest biotechnological products ever produced. At this year’s Jülich Biotech Day, Jochen Förster from Danish brewer Carlsberg spoke about the possibilities open to us today for using wild yeasts in sustainable industrial beer production. In addition to Förster, who is director of the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, a number of other scientists presented the latest developments and findings from their research – which bring us one step closer to a future bioeconomy.
