Light and Airy Iridium Electrode

Jülich/Munich, 11 November 2019 – The noble metal iridium is ideally suited for producing hydrogen via electrolysis – and is extremely expensive. Real savings can be made with a new electrode made of a highly porous material, which can achieve outstanding results with just a wafer-thin layer of iridium oxide.
