Online survey aims to identify symptoms of an infection with the novel coronavirus

An international team has compiled an online survey for worldwide distribution regarding smell and taste disorders in connection with COVID-19. It is hoped that the survey will allow medical professionals and patients to distinguish the symptoms of an infection with the novel coronavirus from those of other respiratory illnesses – and potentially support the provision of medical care for those affected. Over 500 scientists, clinicians, and patient representatives from 38 countries are involved in the project. The online survey is available from today
