Chair of Ceramics at RWTH

Prof. Jesus Gonzalez-Julian has worked with us as young group leader during the last 7 years, focusing on the processing of MAX phase materials for high temperature. From 1st September he is full professor (W3) and hold the chair of ceramics at RWTH Aachen. We are happy for his achievement and glad of our young generation! The interest and activities of the chair are complementary to our activities at IEK-1, so we will keep a close contact. In fact, Prof. Gonzalez-Julian will lead his group at IEK1 with the name „Nanolayered ceramics“.
