Crowds Converge on Düsseldorf

Experiments with more than 2,000 test subjects successfully completed

Jülich/Düsseldorf, 24 June 2013 – How can events with thousands of people in enclosed spaces be made even safer? In an effort to answer this question, scientists from Jülich, Siegen and Wuppertal performed the largest ever pedestrian experiment of its kind in a trade fair hall in Düsseldorf last weekend.
