Self-Destruction of Glioblastoma

A team of Jülich scientists used a special RNA molecule to specifically attack and destroy glioblastoma cancer cells. The selectively expressed RNA (seRNA) molecules cause the diseased cells to produce a protein that leads to their own programmed cell death.
