The lecture will be held in German.
What is presented?
The Einstein Telescope, Europe's next-generation gravitational wave detector, could be built in the border triangle. It will observe black holes, colliding or exploding stars and much more across almost the entire universe, right back to the dark ages. In his lecture on Thursday, 6 November at 3 p.m., Prof. Stahl will present some examples of these scientific goals and the associated technological challenges.
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Achim Stahl ist head of the chair for "Experimentalphysik III B" at RWTH University Aachen. His lecture is presented as part of the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance JARA
