Supporting early-career scientists is a fundamental concern of Geoverbund ABC/J. This is why in 2018, Geoverbund ABC/J will for the eighth time be presenting the Geoverbund ABC/J Young Academics Award.

The research prize honors outstanding, innovative, and interdisciplinary research in the field of geosciences, including geography. Applications/nominations are now possible; closing date is 15 February 2018.
