Welcome to Falling Walls Lab Jülich!

“Great Minds, 3 Minutes, 1 Day” is the motto for 11 young scientists who will compete in the Falling Walls Lab heat from 13:30 to 16:45 on Monday, 24 September 2018, in the lecture Theatre of the Central Library at Forschungszentrum Jülich. The candidates from all over Germany and abroad have three minutes to convince a jury of representatives from science, industry, and funding organizations that their new approaches and groundbreaking research projects can solve global problems.

Guest lecture on creativity
The Falling Walls Lab Jülich features a special highlight. Prof. Sascha Friesike will give a lecture entitled: “Creativity and Digital Transformation”. He is Assistant Professor of Digital Innovation at the VU University in Amsterdam. His talk (in English) starts at 15:15 in the lecture theatre of the Central Library.
