Excellence Initiative: Support from Jülich Leads to Success

Jülich, 21 March 2011 – Forschungszentrum Jülich is once again an important partner for RWTH Aachen University in the current phase of the German federal and state governments' Excellence Initiative. The Joint Commission appointed by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Council of Science and Humanities has just given the partnership the go-ahead: new projects with RWTH Aachen University have made it to the final round of the selection procedure, and excellence projects that were begun in the first phase of the Excellence Initiative are to be continued.
