Jülich Particle Physicists Construct Storage Ring for FAIR
Forschungszentrum Jülich receives grant notification
Jülich, 24 May 2011 – Jülich will receive roughly € 65 million for its contribution to the international project FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research). Scientists at Jülich will use this funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to take over construction of the High Energy Storage Ring (HESR) and thus become an important partner in research with antiprotons within the framework of this major project.
