Joint German-Russian Institute
Forschungszentrum Jülich is set to intensify collaboration with scientific institutions in Moscow and Novosibirsk.
Jülich, 24 May 2011 – At the beginning of the German-Russian Year of Science 2011-2012, a delegation headed by Prof. Sebastian M. Schmidt, member of the Board of Directors of Forschungszentrum Jülich, travelled to Moscow and Novosibirsk. The programme includes discussions with the Russian partners on research in the fields of supercomputing, nanobiophysics and nuclear physics, along with agreements regarding a joint institute and workshops.
