Hands-On Experience!
Twelfth Girls' Day at Forschungszentrum Jülich
Jülich, 25 April 2013 – How does a supercomputer work? What is the function of a legal department at a leading research centre? And what can you do with ion beams? These are just three of the questions to which the girls participating in Girls’ Day found answers at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Twenty-four girls from classes 5 to 10 from schools in the region came to learn about jobs in the areas of science and technology as well as different trades and IT and to discover ideas for their own future careers – whether as a trainee or at university.
