Paolo Carloni honored with Hans and Marlies Zimmer International Scholar Award

Jülich/Cincinnati, April 28, 2022 - Prof. Paolo Carloni, director of the Institute for Computational Biomedicine at Forschungszentrum Jülich, was honored with the Hans and Marlies Zimmer International Scholar Award at a symposium in Cincinnati, USA, in April 2022. Carloni received the award for his contributions in computational chemistry and biophysics.

The Hans and Marlies International Scholar Program supports research projects between the University of Cincinnati and scientists from around the world. Paolo Carloni was awarded the honor last year, but the recipient's personal tribute had to be postponed until 2022 due to the Covid pandemic.
