Millions in Funding for Fusion Research

Nuclear fusion could solve many energy supply issues thanks to almost limitless energy production. However, the technical implementation is complex, and key technological components for the practical operation of future power plants are still not available. Jülich fusion researchers are participating in two new scientific projects that aim to bring stellarator fusion power plants closer to market maturity.
