New Project Office for Global Climate Research in Jülich

International recognition for Jülich climate research and supercomputing: From January 2024, the international project office (IPO) of the “Atmospheric Processes and their Role in Climate” project (APARC) will be based at Forschungszentrum Jülich. APARC is a core project of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP). The Institute of Energy and Climate Research – Stratosphere (IEK-7) and the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) are jointly coordinating the project office. The new IPO director will be stratospheric researcher Dr. Rolf Müller.
