Jülich researchers are investigating the origin of clouds and how they influence the climate
Jülich, 1 March 2011 – Jülich scientists are flying high this spring on two measurement campaigns. On research flights, they will be collecting data on the composition of clouds at altitudes of up to ten and 18 kilometres, respectively. Their aim is to obtain a better understanding of human impacts on cloud formation and thus to improve climate predictions and weather forecasts.
